Ciemmona 2008 is over, the streets of Rome were filled up with smiling faces and pedalling legs for four days. These were days of shared joy, communication among cylcists and between cyclists and car drivers, in a city that has the highest car population in Europe.

We'd like to thank all those peoples who gave their contribution to make Ciemmona 2008 the beautiful thing it was.

First of all thanks to the 5000 cyclists who joined from Rome, from Italy, from Europe and from the whole world!!

Thanks to all those who contributed, in different ways, to make this Ciemmona 2008 a real Interplanetary Critical Mass: putting their bycicles at other people disposal; writing, drawing and distributing flyers and wallpapers; talking to people on the streets to inform them about Ciemmona's spirit; writing and translating, often in a very short time, this website.

Thanks to all roman ciclofficinas, for their commitment on all fronts and for the areas given for cyclists accomodation.

Thanks to the prize-winner firm Pignone & Co. for the t-shirts, that are now riding all around the world. :)

Thanks to traffic-policewomen and policemen too, who escorted us discreetly and effectively.
Ciemmona participants appreciated their professionalism and their skill to understand traffic fluxes. Moreover, thanks to them for the patience they used towards the reactions of those car drivers unable to understand that this kind of event is a peaceful and joyful moment on the streets, and not an attack on their freedom of movement.

In the end, thanks to all those who will keep on riding their bicyles today and tomorrow, and even more to all those who after this Ciemmona will try to abandon their car and take a bicycle!
